Who We Are

Meet The Founder

Jane Martin

Clothing designer Jane Martin is the face behind The Seeding Project. For 22 years she designed and developed garments in countries like India, China, Indonesia and Mexico, witnessing first-hand the poverty surrounding the factories in those areas and the children who suffered. For a long time, Jane wanted to do more. But how?
A few years ago, Jane got the opportunity to travel to Haiti on a missions trip. During her stay she worked with three orphanages and a boy’s home. It hurt her to see so many children who were not adoptable and would spend most of their childhood without the love and guidance of a parent. Since that fateful trip, Jane has committed herself to returning to Haiti a few times a year. The Seeding Project is Jane’s newest venture – a children’s graphic tee line that is produced in the U.S.A., creating jobs at home while helping orphaned children in Haiti. 25% of the proceeds from the sales of her tees are donated to help pay for the basic necessities and school fees for these children, educating and empowering them with the knowledge that they can be a powerful change.
